I was lucky enough to watch the local Omanis showcase their skills on their beloved horses. They pulled out all the stops to impress the crowd and attending media. On the side of the track, local people cooked some dishes for the visitors to taste and shown some interesting skills with their hands.
One of the most prominent buildings here in Sohar is definitely the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. With its beautiful turquoise dome and excellent craftsmanship, it surely is a pleasure to the eyes.
One of my goals in Nepal was to take a few photos of people working in the rice plantations. Even the young people got involved in this family business.
